"There is astronomy in our bodies"
Swirling
There is nothing simple to find in the world Except that we're lost in it There is astronomy in our bodies Discoveries displacing one another Like rain into rivers The dizzy dance of revolution Blood recycled in us And a billion synapses firing into oblivion Spilling out of us in swirling expressions Themselves galaxies circling boundless mysteries With humility, dissect it And see its guts splayed Starlight splattered Cosmos dripping off the sterile edge of our sharpened minds We collide into ourselves Dust reassembled into the shape of the firmament The linear path feeds on itself And reaches the end Right where it began
